Plenty to Spare

Mikayla was asking about grandparents today. She wanted to know who was still alive and who had passed on. She said she never got to meet her Great Grandpa Dodge. We were talking about the how cool it was that she still has grandparents on both sides of the family that love her very much. Then she asked me if my moms parents(Grandma and Grandpa Wiser) had died yet. I told her that they were still alive. She replied with a lot of excitement, "Good, I still have plenty of grandparents to spare!" I wasn't sure how to respond to that so I just laughed really hard.

Mikayla Makes Breakfast

Mikayla made breakfast for the family today. She made muffins from her new cookbook she got for Christmas. Jen helped her make them. Then while we ate she described how to make them. She wants to email everyone the recipe since they tasted so good. Usually when she makes breakfast she brings out a dry and cold piece of toast with a big glob of butter right in the middle. Then you have to smile while you eat it and tell her how good it tastes. This encourages her to do it over and over. We've had a lot of breakfasts with cold and dry pieces of toast. Muffins were a nice change for the day.

Madison Drinks Bottle Backwards

Madison is currently trying to drink her bottle backwards. She reaches underneath the bottle and grabs the bag and then trys to suck the milk out of it. After a few minutes she gets mad and turns it around correctly. I just look at her and tell her to do it right the first time and you won't get so mad. She looks back and says, "Bladifewjfiof."

One of my favorite pictures

Here is a picture of the septic tank truck that drives by our house everyday. He let me take a picture of the back of his truck. It says: "We haul milk on weekends."

MMMMM.....Yummy Milk!

Christmas Eve

We had a nice dinner on Christmas Eve. Jen cooked a ham, taters, rolls, and other fixin's. It was good. Before dinner started Bryce told me he picked in the cherry's. Jen didn't have any cherries out for dinner so I wondered what he was talking about. I asked him where the cherry's were so I could pick too. He pointed to the black olives. Bryce had a couple of slices of ham and a roll for dinner. He also put five cherry's(olives) on the end of his fingers and ate them one at a time. At the end of dinner he stood up and said, "I'm done eating these pancakes! I'm full." He was talking about his slice of ham. I wonder what he thinks he is eating half of the time. If black olives are cherry's and ham slices are pancakes then what else is going on in his mind when he eats other food?

My New Blog

Seems as if I'm behind the times on a blog page. I've tried doing lots of different websites before and never seem to keep up with them. I have a myspace page right now but will most likely be canceling that because I don't like myspace. I think it has to do with the fact that a 31 year-old man shouldn't be on myspace. We'll see how this one goes. Maybe I'll remember from time to time to post and put up pictures of things. The kids are always doing crazy things. I should have some pictures of that stuff from time to time. Bryce will probably come out of his room in the next few weeks dressed like a princess so I'll take a picture of that when it happens.
